RESEARCH & EDITORIAL POLICY
Methodology & sources
This is an editorial shortlist informed by official tourism statistics and travel-platform evidence, not a visitor ranking of the destinations. National arrivals, same-day visits and holiday platform bookings differ in definition and period, so we do not rank them against one another. Busan and Jeju broaden Korean regional coverage; Da Nang is an editorial choice for beach and nearby experiences. Product families were selected for useful pre-booking comparisons, not presented as live sales or transaction rankings. The 12 destinations added on 2026-10-13 broaden overseas regions and travel styles. They are editorial discovery choices, not additions to a statistical visitor ranking; booking links open official city or regional directories.
